What you'll do

Perform routine tests of electrical protections and troubleshoot faults in the installations of hydro production centers.
Oversee service contracts, including the installation and commissioning of new electrical protection systems.
Ensure the proper functioning of electrical protection systems by troubleshooting or performing tests.
Collaborate with more qualified professionals to detect, analyze, and resolve faults in electrical systems, which may involve repairing equipment in the laboratory.
Work with project managers in the preparation of specifications and the evaluation of proposals.
Participate in the study of altering settings/programming of electrical protection systems.
Interpret electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical instructions.
Perform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment and specialized diagnostic tests on electrical protection systems.
Prepare work and intervention reports.
Install or place equipment for diagnostics and testing of electronic instrumentation.
