Infrastructure Senior Consultant

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, MCSE, CCNA Datacenter) will be valued.
• More than 8 years of experience in systems administration or datacenter operations.
• Advanced knowledge of physical and virtual servers, infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, SNMP), monitoring tools, and operating systems (Windows and Linux). Familiarity with web/application servers and datacenter operations. Knowledge of IT security, including system hardening, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, EDR, and backup and replication solutions. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to incident diagnosis and resolution. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information to non-technical interlocutors. Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
• Lead technical teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems or networks.
• Guide and mentor more junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Contribute to the development of IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Fluency in English (written and oral).
• Availability to travel as necessary.

Incident Resolution

• Systematically identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems in technological infrastructures, restoring their ideal functionality.
• Use advanced knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software to isolate problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the team and use advanced diagnostic tools to ensure rapid and accurate resolution.

Incident Response

• Quickly detect and respond to infrastructure incidents, including failures, performance degradation, and security incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve problems to ensure service continuity.

Systems Administration

• Manage environments with physical and virtual servers, in both public and private cloud.
• Work on the application and network layers.
• Administer operating systems from different manufacturers (Linux and Windows), including patching activities, updates, backups, monitoring, and management of infrastructure services such as Active Directory (AD), DNS, and DHCP.

Virtualization

• Operate virtualization environments with market-leading technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Ensure high levels of availability through the management of SAN networks, fabric switches, clusters, and storage solutions.

Security Assessment

• Implement and maintain security measures for protection against unauthorized access and other threats.
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Server Management

• Configure and maintain servers.
• Install and configure operating systems and their respective services.
• Perform maintenance tasks that promote system efficiency and performance.
