The role

We are looking for a Power Platform Tech Lead to join our team and lead the design, delivery, and evolution of enterprise-grade Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

In this role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding the development of scalable and maintainable applications, automation solutions, and digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to design and deliver impactful solutions in complex enterprise environments.

The role combines solution architecture, software engineering, and team leadership, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of solutions using:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power BI
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Power Platform developers and technical teams
Define development standards, reusable components, and engineering best practices
Design integrations with:
- Dataverse
- Microsoft 365
- Azure services
- SQL databases
- Third-party applications
Oversee application lifecycle management, deployment processes, testing, and release management
Establish Power Platform governance practices, including:
- Security
- Data management
- Licensing
- Compliance
Ensure platform solutions align with enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps
Monitor solution performance and implement improvements to reliability and maintainability
Support project planning, effort estimation, risk management, and technical oversight
Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical decisions and recommendations
Contribute to Power Platform capability building, innovation initiatives, and internal accelerators

Requirements

BSc or MSc in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Information Systems
- Related technical fields
6+ years of experience in software engineering, solution development, or enterprise application delivery
Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex Power Platform projects
Advanced knowledge of:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power BI
Strong understanding of:
- Dataverse
- Data modelling
- DAX
- Dashboard development
Experience with:
- Power Platform Connectors
- API integrations
- Microsoft Graph
- Azure services
Knowledge of:
- Power Platform security
- Licensing
- Governance
- Application lifecycle management (ALM)
Experience with:
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD pipelines
- Modern software engineering practices
Experience delivering solutions within:
- Banking
- Financial services
- Highly regulated environments
Strong understanding of design patterns, software engineering principles, and cloud technologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Microsoft Power Platform certifications, such as:
- PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate
- PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
Fluent in both written and spoken English

Nice-to-have

Experience designing enterprise-scale governance frameworks for Power Platform
Experience with:
- Azure Integration Services
- Azure Functions
- Logic Apps
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and digital transformation programs
Experience creating reusable platform components and internal accelerators
Strong consulting and client-facing experience
Fluency in Portuguese
