SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT
What we are looking for
We are looking for a professional with experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), responsible for managing the lifecycle of software licenses and assets, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and efficiency in the use of technological resources. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial vision, and knowledge of software licensing best practices, contributing to decision-making through analysis and

What you will do on a day-to-day basis

• Manage the lifecycle of software licenses and assets;

• Track acquired, assigned, installed, and effectively used licenses, identifying discrepancies and optimization opportunities;

• Support the collection of evidence for compliance analyses and Effective License Position (ELP);

• Identify idle, underutilized, or inadequate licenses relative to user profiles;

• Propose actions for reharvesting, downgrading, reusing, and optimizing licenses, promoting financial efficiency;

• Monitor changes in the licensing models and metrics of major software vendors;

• Support renewal, procurement, true-up/true-down, and negotiation processes with vendors;

• Collaborate in audits and compliance processes conducted by software vendors.
