Generalist Veterinarian - AniCura Alma Veterinária Hospital Veterinário

We are looking for a Generalist Veterinarian to strengthen the team at Anicura Alma Veterinária Hospital Veterinário.

• Providing appropriate preventive care.

• Clinically examining animals and preparing their medical history.

• Assisting with internal and external medicine consultations.

• Attending to emergency, inpatient, and ICU consultations.

• Performing complete diagnostic examinations.

• Assimilating information gathered through anamnesis, physical examination, and effective diagnosis to reach an appropriate and effective clinical decision.

• Performing control and monitoring of hospitalized animals.

• Establishing treatment guidelines, as well as their subsequent follow-up and evolution.

• Prescribing medications

• Performing basic surgeries with appropriate anesthesia, monitoring, and pain control.

• Explaining the treatment to follow and the budget to the client.

• Maintaining daily control of the number of cases.

• Maintaining an active role in improving hospital efficiency.

• Addressing and resolving client concerns arising from medical care for pets.

• Developing strong and lasting relationships with clients.

• Demonstrating integrity and ethics in all actions and behaviors.

• Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine

• Availability to work in rotating shifts, and one weekend every 15 days.
