What we're looking for
- Technical or vocational training in Metalworking, Mechanics, Machining, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
- Previous practical experience in a metalworking, mechanical, industrial production, or workshop environment.
- Practical experience in metalwork, mechanical rework, assembly, and the use of workshop tools.
- Ability to interpret basic technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of dimensional measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers.
- Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and quality procedures.
- Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong orientation toward quality.
The role
Locksmith (Factory - Abóboda)
What you'll do
The Locksmith is responsible for executing mechanical rework, repair, adjustment, assembly, and finishing of metal parts and components in a workshop environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute rework, modifications, and small repairs on metal parts and components.
- Perform cutting, drilling, grinding, deburring, adjustment, and finishing operations.
- Execute basic machining work using conventional workshop equipment.
- Assemble, disassemble, fit, and adjust mechanical components.
- Perform painting, touch-up, and surface finishing work, when necessary.
- Use hand tools, power tools, drilling machines, and measuring equipment.
- Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Perform basic dimensional checks and identify defects or deviations.
- Ensure that work complies with required quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in good condition.
