Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 1 year of technical training in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR technical training, for example, in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

The role

The Service Department is responsible for the proper functioning of our customers' wind farms, ensuring the highest levels of performance for each turbine throughout its entire lifespan. It works to ensure that the turbines are operational at their maximum capacity, providing the best possible energy yield to customers. As such, the team is fundamental to maintaining long-term customer loyalty. The Service Technician uses skills and training to perform maintenance work on assigned wind turbines. The Technician will follow specific schedules and procedures, including safety protocols, turbine servicing or installation processes, and other direct and detailed verbal and written instructions.

What you'll do

According to the Service Supervisor, the main tasks are:

  • Ensure that health and safety procedures and Vestas quality requirements are followedPerform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks

  • Maintenance of Vestas wind turbines in customer wind farms throughout the region

  • Monitor WTG performance

  • Report turbine conditions and collect turbine data for investigative analysis

  • Establish professional and effective contact with customers whenever necessary

  • The position will be based in the North Zone of the country and requires the candidate to live in this area
