Master’s Thesis – Grants, Funding & Innovation Strategy for Deep Tech Growth

We are looking for a highly motivated Master's Thesis student to join our Grants & Innovation team at Smartex, working at the intersection of European innovation policy and deep tech strategy to bridge EU funding programmes with real-world R&D and product execution. In this role, you will support the identification and structuring of European and national funding opportunities (such as Horizon Europe, Eurostars and PT2030) and contribute to how they are leveraged to drive innovation and long-term growth. This position is ideal for someone interested in EU policy, innovation ecosystems, and strategic funding, and how public investment translates into tangible technological impact in a deep tech environment.
