Music Workshop Leader, TUMO Setúbal
For TUMO Setúbal, we are forming an educational team at the scale of this project, and to that end, we are hiring a Music Workshop Leader for the three available schedules in Setúbal. The Workshop Leaders will be responsible for leading workshops, using the content and pedagogical material provided by TUMO for this purpose. They do not need to create content from scratch and do not need to have any experience as teachers - it will be enough to be specialists in the areas they apply for as Workshop Leaders, be truly enthusiastic about the TUMO project, and have a great desire to work with young people.
Based on the established pedagogical model, the Music Workshop Leader will work directly with the students of the TUMO Setúbal Center to:
Develop Music workshops using TUMO materials combined with their respective experience and creativity;
Evaluate students' work at the end of each workshop;
Evaluate Self-learning activities weekly;
Guide students, giving them constructive feedback for their evolution;
Promote learning in a collaborative and proactive way;
Work Location: Avenida Luísa Todi - TUMO Setúbal
Work Regime: The Workshop Leaders team works on a shift basis, for 10 months of the year (October to June), with expected school breaks at Christmas and Easter;
Schedules: TUMO Setúbal schedules take place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 14:30 to 18:30 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00;
Initial training: to carry out this role, there will be approximately 100 hours of training during the month of October, at schedules to be agreed upon.

Shaken Not Stirred implements and operates educational projects in Portugal and Spain. It was the team that brought 42 and TUMO to Portugal, and works with municipalities, foundations, and institutional partners to bring free training in technology and arts to young people, regardless of their socioeconomic context.
The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is our largest program: free, for young people between the ages of 12 and 18, where they define their own learning path in areas such as robotics, programming, graphic design, film production, music, or animation. In Portugal, we have already opened in Coimbra, Lisbon, and Porto, and we will open in Setúbal at the end of this year - in a decentralized, smaller-scale format built with local partners. In parallel, we develop other educational projects in the Alentejo region, specifically in Évora.
Students combine the learning objectives of TUMO (Robotics, Photography, Game Development, Graphic Design, Film Production, Programming, Music, Animation, Generative Artificial Intelligence, and 3D Modeling) in their learning plans, which are adaptable to their progress and preferences. Soft skills such as teamwork, initiative, empathy, and effective communication are incorporated, along with technical knowledge of the area.
