Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Information Technology (e.g., Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems Management).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles, focusing on secure development of systems and applications and/or Cloud Security and Network Security, and/or Identity and Access Management.
Knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks in the field of Information Security and Cybersecurity (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, OWASP).
Proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese and English.

Nice to have

Relevant certifications in the field of Cybersecurity and Information Security (e.g., CS-100, SABSA, AWS Certified Security, CCSP).
Experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud environments.
Knowledge of AI, IAM, PAM, SASE, CASB.
Sense of responsibility.
Ability to communicate and translate complex challenges to different stakeholders in the organization.

The role

The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for defining and evaluating security controls and reference architectures for TAP's different ecosystems. They will also support the implementation and evolution of these controls and architectures, ensuring alignment with TAP's security requirements, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the security posture of platforms, systems, and applications.

They will also play a fundamental role in monitoring new projects and initiatives, ensuring the integration of security requirements and controls, in accordance with the context and specifications of the civil aviation sector, from the initial design and development phases, promoting a Shift Left and Security by Design approach.

Within the scope of the Cybersecurity team's activities, the Cyber Security Architect will likewise support strategic initiatives, notably in the areas of identity and access management, Cloud and AI solution security, among others,

This role is part of the CyberSecurity Services - Architecture, Technologies & Solutions team and reports to the Team Leader of the respective area.

What you'll do

Design and support the implementation of reference security architectures.
Define security controls appropriate to TAP's security and privacy requirements.
Monitor and support project teams during the development lifecycle of systems, services, and products.
Analyze and evaluate current security controls and architectures, proposing the necessary improvements.
Ensure the correct adoption and implementation of security controls and architectures.
Monitor and support the strategic initiatives of the Cybersecurity program (e.g., Cloud Security, AI, Access Management)
Identify and characterize residual risks resulting from implementation and operation activities.
Communicate and present improvement proposals, identified risks, and security controls to various stakeholders.
Collaborate with and support the rest of the Cybersecurity team and other stakeholders in the organization.
Prepare supporting documentation and assist in the definition of TAP security standards.
Support the implementation of the Security by Design/DevSecOps program.
