Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Microbiology, Agronomic Engineering, Zootechnical Engineering, Nutrition, or other Engineering areas;
Knowledge of HACCP, risk management, and Food Safety;
Knowledge of Excel and Data Analytics tools;
Capacity for critical analysis and interpretation of complex information;
Strong sense of responsibility, professional ethics, and impartiality;
Good written and verbal communication skills;
Dynamic, autonomous, confident profile oriented towards problem-solving;
Curiosity and interest in the continuous updating of technical knowledge;
Driver's license and availability for frequent travel within the national territory.

The role

We are looking for a Food Safety & Audit Trainee for our Audit & Risk team in Carnaxide and, we believe, we will be #betterwithyou

This role is essential to ensure the continuous assessment and improvement of food area processes, contributing to risk mitigation and the reinforcement of the highest food safety standards.

What you'll do

Perform internal Food Safety audits in the different food areas of the business;
Identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and propose corrective actions that promote operational excellence;
Provide consultancy and technical support to teams, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of self-control systems and HACCP plans;
Analyze Food Safety data and indicators, producing recommendations that support decision-making;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, promoting a culture of prevention, rigor, and safety;
Collaborate with different stakeholders and business areas, ensuring clear and constructive communication.
