Assistant Production Trainee

The Production Trainee's main objective will be to support the activities of production planning, monitoring, and control, contributing to ensuring product availability, efficient resource utilization, and compliance with production plans. During the internship, they will develop knowledge in the areas of industrial planning, materials management, production capacity, operational management, Supply Chain, and continuous improvement.

Additionally, they will support the monitoring of productive activity, the analysis of performance, productivity, quality, safety, and cost indicators, as well as the preparation of operational reports and coordination with different areas of the factory. They will also participate in the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities, contributing to increased efficiency and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities
Production Management Support
Support the daily monitoring of productive activities, ensuring compliance with production plans.
Collaborate in the coordination of human and material resources necessary for the production process.
Support the monitoring of production performance indicators (productivity, efficiency, waste, quality, and safety).
Participate in the identification and resolution of operational constraints that may impact the achievement of production objectives.
Collaborate in the implementation and monitoring of actions defined by the Production Manager.
Operational Monitoring
Monitor production operations on the floor, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Support coordination between Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and other support areas.
Collaborate in controlling compliance with quality, food safety, and occupational safety requirements.
Participate in the analysis of operational occurrences and in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Support the management and organization of the area's operational information.
Data Management and Reporting
Support the collection, analysis, and processing of operational data.
Collaborate in the preparation and updating of production reports and performance indicators.
Support the updating and maintenance of relevant data in the company's management systems.
Participate in the analysis of deviations and in the identification of opportunities to improve operational results.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on production efficiency, quality, safety, and waste reduction.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies in production areas.
Collaborate in the identification of opportunities for process and workflow optimization.
Contribute to the development of solutions that promote the improvement of operational performance.
Quality, Safety, and Environment
Comply with and promote compliance with the company's Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment standards.
Participate in audits, inspections, and awareness actions related to HSE.
Report risk situations and collaborate in the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
Contribute to the promotion of a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Desired Profile
Academic background in Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Production Engineering, or a similar field.
Interest in developing a career in the areas of Production, Operations, or Continuous Improvement.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Analytical capacity and results orientation.
Organization, proactivity, and a sense of responsibility.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and develop in an industrial environment.
