Data Integration Consultant (Apache NiFi)

• Proven experience in the development and maintenance of flows in Apache NiFi.
• Experience with NiFi Expression Language, parameter contexts, and environment-based parameterization.
• Knowledge of integration via HTTP/REST, SFTP, JDBC, and Kafka.
• Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, and data transformations, including Jolt where applicable.
• Knowledge of data provenance, back pressure, queues, and fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of security, credential management, and TLS communication.
• Experience with NiFi clusters and mechanisms for versioning and promoting flows between environments is valued.
• Analytical capacity, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with technical teams.
• Proficiency in English, oral and written, for collaboration and technical documentation.

We are looking for a Data Integration Consultant with experience in Apache NiFi to participate in a technological transformation project for a reference client in the energy sector.

The professional will be responsible for the analysis and adaptation of data flows between applications, files, and integration platforms, contributing to information traceability, the segregation of configurations and access, and operational continuity.

• Gather and document NiFi flows, processors, process groups, controller services, and connections to external systems.
• Develop, adapt, and parameterize data ingestion, transformation, and routing flows.
• Reconfigure endpoints, credentials, certificates, and parameter contexts.
• Implement validations, error handling, retries, and flow recovery mechanisms.
• Analyze data provenance and dependencies to identify the data path and the impacts of changes.
• Optimize queues, concurrency, and back pressure configurations, according to processing requirements.
• Participate in testing, deployment, production entry, and stabilization, producing technical and operational documentation.
