Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles, such as QA Engineer, Software Engineer or another equivalent technical role;
Experience in leading, developing, or coaching engineers or engineering teams;
Proven track record in combining people leadership with technical capability and responsibility for project delivery;
Solid knowledge in engineering quality, software maintenance, testability, and operational excellence;
Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable execution plans for the team;
Ease in working in close collaboration with Product Owners, stakeholders, Agile Leads, and engineering teams;
Excellent communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and a collaborative leadership style;
Interest in developing motivated, autonomous teams oriented towards continuous improvement;
Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken;
Availability for occasional travel within Europe.

The role

What you'll do

Ensure the execution of team deliveries, ensuring alignment with the technological roadmap;
Promote sustainable, predictable, and high-quality software delivery;
Act as People Manager for the engineering team, including coaching, mentoring, feedback, resource allocation, and performance evaluation;
Define the technological direction of the team and promote the adoption of engineering best practices;
Ensure high standards of quality, maintenance, and operational excellence in software development;
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to align deliveries with business priorities;
Act as the main technical interlocutor for the Product Owner within the team;
Contribute to the definition and implementation of the technological strategy, promoting the standardization of processes and continuous improvement initiatives;
Foster a culture of collaboration, responsibility, and continuous improvement within the engineering team;
Actively participate in the daily work of product teams in an Agile environment.
