The role
Integrated into the Tax Department of the Mota-Engil Group, you will be responsible for supporting the tax activities of several foreign companies within the Group, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax obligations. The role involves the support, analysis, and review of periodic tax matters, including monthly tax provisions, as well as consulting and monitoring relevant commercial and intra-group operations, ensuring appropriate tax treatment. The position also requires active interaction with internal finance and reporting teams, as well as with external consultants in different jurisdictions. This role offers the opportunity to play a fundamental role in the Group's Tax Department, working on international tax matters and supporting commercial operations throughout the Group.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or Tax Law;
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in international taxation;
- Practical experience in international tax structures, including Pillar 2 (GloBE) concepts and compliance, is an advantage;
- Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of SAP ERP is valued;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- High sense of responsibility, professional integrity, and ethical standards;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Availability to travel;
- Ability to work in a team and with a results-oriented mindset.
