The role

At this time, we intend to recruit a Medical Action Assistant for the Central Sterilization Service for Hospital Lusíadas Amadora.

What you'll do

Perform the transport and washing/disinfection of material;
Provide administrative support to the service, namely by proceeding with the collection of material necessary to request for the operation of the service;
Execute sterilization tests daily, as well as sterilization processes (autoclave and sterrad);
Receive, confirm, and restock in the respective boxes the material used in the operating room (e.g., osteosynthesis material);
Ensure the maintenance of hygiene conditions in the respective workplace;
Collaborate in the preparation of the service's administrative procedures, recording the necessary information.

Desired profile

Academic qualifications at the 12th-grade level (mandatory);
Health Care Assistant Technician course and professional experience in the healthcare field (preferred);
Experience in the area of Sterilization;
Computer skills from a user perspective;
Ease of oral and written communication;
Availability for rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends).
