As the Business Development & Sales Intern of Wizpress, you will be helping media teams in Portugal and Spain adopt AI-powered tools to transform press releases and incoming information into ready-to-edit news articles.
- Support business development and sales efforts in Portugal and Spain;
- Conduct outreach to editors, publishers and media decision-makers;
- Prepare and deliver product demos of the WizPress platform;
- Help the team win its first customers in new markets.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Portuguese speaker with strong communication and relationship-building skills;
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency (written and spoken);
- Commercial mindset, energy and resilience;
- Curiosity about AI, media and startups;
- Currently living in the Algarve region and available to work on-site in Faro.
Nice to have:
- Spanish language skills;
- Prior experience or academic background in journalism, media or marketing;
- Familiarity with AI tools or SaaS products.
Important: Preference will be given to students who are required to complete a curricular internship as part of their academic programme. However, applications from candidates seeking other internship opportunities will also be considered, depending on profile and availability.
