Bachelor's Degree in Orthoptics and professional license, or equivalent in Portugal (mandatory);
Residency authorization in Portugal, in the case of foreign candidates (mandatory);
Availability to work rotating shifts (mandatory).
Minimum experience of 1/2 years in similar roles (preferred);

Identifies, quantifies, and qualifies binocular vision anomalies;
Performance of examinations that study the integrity of the visual system from an anatomo-physiological and neuro-physiological point of view (e.g., Optical Coherence Tomography - OCT; Corneal Topography; optical biometry, retinography; etc.);
Defines and executes therapeutic programs aimed at visual re-education and rehabilitation;
Provides support to the doctor during consultations.
