Bachelor's Degree in Orthoptics and professional license, or equivalent in Portugal (mandatory);
Residency authorization in Portugal, in the case of foreign candidates (mandatory);
Availability to work rotating shifts (mandatory).

Together we want to do more and care better. We are hiring an Orthoptics Technician (m/f) to join the Ophthalmology service at the Hospital CUF Açores unit.
Identifies, quantifies, and qualifies binocular vision anomalies;
Performing examinations that study the integrity of the visual system from an anatomo-physiological and neurophysiological point of view (e.g., Optical Coherence Tomography - OCT; Corneal Topography; optical biometry, retinography; etc.);
Defines and executes therapeutic programs aimed at visual re-education and rehabilitation;
Provides support to the doctor during consultations.
