Machine Learning Engineer | AI Directorate-Excellence Center (ceia)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience with Python and SQL;
• Basic knowledge of Bash and Git;
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and statistics;
• Experience in model training and testing, handling large volumes of data, and applying Data Science techniques to deal with dimensionality reduction, leakage, overfitting, among others;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn continuously.

• Development and implementation of models in cloud environments, such as GCP;
• Experience in model performance monitoring;
• Knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence and/or Computer Vision;
• Experience with OCR, text extraction, or document processing

To promote the development and acquisition of Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills, through an internal and external collaborative ecosystem, that allows for the introduction of AI, at scale, into all bank functions, ensuring levels of personalization, innovation, and efficiency that rival those of digital-native competitors. The AI Engineer will be responsible for supporting the analysis and interpretation of large volumes of data, contributing to the generation of insights that support strategic decisions, heavily supported by Artificial Intelligence tools. They will work in close collaboration with different teams, supporting data-driven initiatives.

• Support the collection, cleaning, and preparation of data for analysis;
• Develop visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar;
• Build statistical and predictive models under the supervision of senior data scientists;
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends;
• Document procedures and maintain well-organized and reusable code;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analyses.
