What we're looking for

Advanced administration of Microsoft SQL Server in critical environments;
Database performance diagnosis and optimization;
Solid knowledge of T-SQL, security, backup, and recovery;
Experience in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash;
Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices;
Experience in the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines;
Ability to work with hybrid infrastructures and cloud environments;
Experience in observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident management;
Proactivity, autonomy, and problem-solving orientation;
Ease of adaptation to different technologies and business contexts;
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Operations, SRE, DevOps, or Database Administration roles;
Solid experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA in production environments;
Experience with version control tools, specifically Git;
Knowledge of public cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure;
Experience in the administration of Windows Server and Linux systems;
Fluent Portuguese and good knowledge of technical English.

Nice to have

Experience with Terraform;
Experience with Docker;
Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki;
Experience with other database engines;
Knowledge of ITIL or FitSM;
Microsoft Azure certifications.

We are looking for a Database Reliability Engineer with experience in Microsoft SQL Server to ensure the availability, performance, and evolution of critical platforms used by various clients. In this role, you will combine database administration, automation, observability, and SRE/DevOps practices, contributing directly to the reliability and continuous improvement of our services.

What you'll do

Administer and ensure the availability of production Microsoft SQL Server environments, including installation, upgrades, patch application, security, and access management;
Monitor and optimize platform performance through the analysis of queries, execution plans, indexes, waits, and locks;
Ensure effective backup, recovery, and high availability strategies, using technologies such as Always On and Failover Clustering;
Automate operational tasks and recurring processes through PowerShell, Python, or Bash, reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency;
Implement and manage observability solutions, defining and tracking reliability, availability, and performance indicators (SLI/SLO);
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions, promoting modern delivery and operation practices;
Participate in the management and resolution of critical incidents, conducting post-incident analyses and implementing preventive and corrective actions;
Operate and evolve hybrid infrastructures in Windows Server, Linux, Azure, and on-premises environments;
Collaborate in the definition and continuous improvement of the SRE, DevOps, automation, and observability practices adopted by the team;
Ensure the stability, security, and evolution of critical contact center, communications, and collaboration platforms used by our clients.
