Systems Administrator (Infrastructure)

• Administer and maintain VMware virtualization environments;

• Monitor the execution and recovery of backups;

• Administer storage platforms;

• Resolve incidents and requests related to systems and infrastructure;

• Collaborate on maintenance, update, and improvement activities for the platforms;

• Support datacenter operations.

We are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience to join our technical team. This person will be responsible for the management, optimization, and support of critical IT infrastructures, with a special focus on virtualization, storage, backup, and hyperconvergence solutions.

• Knowledge of backup, storage, and datacenter infrastructure;

• Problem-solving and analytical skills;

• Availability to join an on-call rotation, for one to two weeks per month.

• At least 3 years of experience in systems or infrastructure administration;

• Hands-on experience in VMware environments.

• Experience in one or more of the technologies that make up the environment stack;

• Experience in medium or large-scale datacenter environments.

• Virtualization: VMware, Oracle VM, Nutanix, and Dell VxRail;

• Backup: Avamar and Dell PowerProtect Data Manager;

• Storage: Dell Compellent, Unity, PowerStore, PowerScale, and NetApp;

• Desktop virtualization: VMware Horizon;

• SAN: Brocade;

• Servers and management: Dell PowerEdge and Dell OpenManage.
