What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in software development
3+ years of experience in web application development
Solid knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/CSS
Experience in backend development with Python and/or C++
Experience with React or equivalent modern frontend frameworks
Good knowledge of English (oral and written)

Nice to have

Experience with PWA principles
Knowledge of PostgreSQL

The role

Job description:

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a highly specialized product team dedicated to developing a next-generation web-based ERP platform for the construction sector. The goal is to build high-performance tools used daily by thousands of field and office professionals in the Nordic countries.

Work is carried out in agile teams, organized with a shared backlog, where each team contributes distinct skills. The common mission is to continuously improve the product that serves as the operational hub for companies in the sector, integrating planning, field operations, and management systems into a single ecosystem.

Development includes both frontend and backend, with modern JavaScript frameworks on the client side and a Python/C++ base on the backend (Linux). The selected candidate will participate in building a system critical to the users' daily work.

What you'll do

Develop advanced web applications in JavaScript (React) and modern frontend technologies
Develop backend services in Python and C++ in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment
Work with data-intensive operations using PostgreSQL
Ensure desktop/mobile compatibility with Progressive Web App (PWA) principles
Contribute to the shared backlog and collaborate across teams to ensure robust and consistent solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Implement and maintain unit and automated tests
Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git

Hybrid model: 2x/week in the office in Olaias
