Data Privacy and Protection Expert

At WINNING CONSULTING, we are looking for a Data Privacy and Protection Expert to join a team for an important client in the Insurance sector, in Lisbon/Porto - (Hybrid)

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data protection, internal control, audit, compliance, or risk;
• Implementation, maintenance, and improvement of data protection and privacy frameworks (GDPR);
• Prevention, screening, escalation, and reporting of data protection incidents;
• Management of the record of processing activities;
• Response to data protection controls and definition of compliance action plans;
• Local data governance aligned with group directives and updating of procedures;
• Definition of reporting and KPIs for risk and data management.

• CIPP and/or CISM certifications;
• Knowledge of French.

• Strengthen the risk culture and develop reporting and KPIs for risk and data management;

• Define governance and training and awareness plans for data protection;

• Prevent and screen data protection incidents; escalate and report alerts;

• Maintain the record of processing activities;

• Respond to the client's data protection controls and define compliance action plans;

• Maintain local data governance aligned with the client's directives and update local procedures.
