At MetLife Portugal, the Direct Sales Force role is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team of exclusive sales consultants. This position also acts as a coach, fostering growth and performance within the sales force.

Key Responsibilities

Implement the strategy and provide the management and support needed to achieve expected results in line with company standards.
Recruit, train, supervise, and coach sales consultants.
Identify and develop agents with leadership potential.
Motivate and manage the sales force to ensure commitment to agency targets.
Ensure monitoring processes are in place to support the effective execution of daily activities.
Ability to use approved AI tools to support routine tasks such as drafting, summarizing, organizing information, and improving day-to-day efficiency.

Required Qualifications

University degree.

Minimum of 3 years experience in sales roles, with proven success in managing, coaching, and motivating sales teams, especially in face-to-face distribution.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of proactivity, problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking.

Experience in the insurance industry (preferred).

Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluent Portuguese speaker

Results-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement.
Working knowledge of AI capabilities with the ability to evaluate and validate outputs with guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in recruitment and training sales team
Experience in the insurance sector

The expected salary range for this position is €30,000 - €35,000. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation under the sales plan for the position. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
