Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Developer, including experience with Legacy/monolithic applications;
  • Experience with AI tools applied to development, namely Devin and/or GitHub Copilot;
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, JDBC, JavaScript, Maven, and HTML/JSP;
  • Experience with WebSphere;
  • Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL*Loader;
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices;
  • Experience with quality and cybersecurity tools, such as Fortify and SonarQube;
  • Basic knowledge of ACERO;
  • Minimum English B1, preferably B2;
  • Minimum Spanish C1.

Nice to have

  • Cloud and distributed systems;
  • Financial products/Treasury;
  • Ability to interpret functional requirements and work collaboratively with Business Analysts.

Who are we looking for? Senior Java Developer & AI | Remote

What you'll do

  • Analysis and review of Java and Spring Boot applications, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability;
  • Use of AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Devin, for code analysis, refactoring, and documentation;
  • Identification of technical debt, performance issues, and improvement opportunities;
  • Development of technical specifications and components and integration with other systems and teams;
  • Documentation of solutions in JIRA, Confluence, and ALM;
  • Support for the implementation of backend and frontend development best practices;
  • Participation in CI/CD and DevOps processes.

How you'll work

Location: Portugal.

Work arrangement: 100% Remote.
