Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician

Floema is reinforcing its team and is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Technician to monitor and develop Occupational Health and Safety conditions within the company.

We are looking for someone with the ability to closely monitor teams, a passion for field work, and a sense of responsibility.

You will have the opportunity to monitor Occupational Health and Safety activities, both in a factory context and on construction sites, contributing to the prevention of professional risks and the promotion of a safe working environment.

Main Functions:

• Participate in the identification of hazards and assessment of professional risks, proposing preventive and corrective measures;

• Prepare and monitor the implementation of Self-Protection Measures;

• Collaborate in the information and training processes for employees regarding OHS;

• Evaluate legal compliance and collaborate in the identification and implementation of legal obligations regarding occupational hygiene and safety;

• Manage OHS processes associated with construction sites and perform the respective field monitoring;

• Prepare and monitor Health and Safety Plans (HSP);

• Control and monitor the management of chemical products;

• Monitor activities related to emergencies, namely drills and the implementation of self-protection measures;

• Conduct consultations with workers regarding OHS;

•  Monitor occupational accidents and respective corrective/preventive measures;

• Monitor the proper use of work equipment, PPE, and CPE;

• Update accident rates.

Work location:

Condeixa-a-Nova

• Professional title of Occupational Safety Technician (level VI);

• Proficiency in IT tools from a user perspective;

• Proficiency in Spanish and English is valued;

• Ease in working in a team and collaborating with different areas;

• Demonstrate high analytical capacity and attention to detail.
