Company History
emeis was founded in 1989 with the opening of its first nursing home for the elderly in Saujon, France. Since then, the group has expanded internationally and now operates nearly 1,000 facilities across more than 20 countries, mainly in Europe, as well as Latin America, Central America, and Asia. In Spain, emeis has over 60 centers including nursing homes, assisted living apartments, the Clínica López Ibor for mental health, and the LESCER neurorehabilitation center.
