Founded in 2000, the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) is a research foundation based in San Sebastián, Spain, dedicated to cutting-edge research in physics and related disciplines. It was established with the conviction that an advanced society requires advanced scientific research, and it operates as an independent center with a board comprising public institutions and private companies. Recognized as a Basque Excellence Research Center since 2008 and holding Severo Ochoa accreditation (2019-2024), DIPC has grown to a team of over 300 researchers and produces more than 500 scientific publications annually.
