Internal Control Officer - Finance (Maternity leave cover)

We are now looking for a Control Assessment Specialist for Airbus GBS.

• Your main mission will be to review the record-to-report department (accounting, planning, reporting...) internal processes, systems and policies and make recommendations to ensure the risk to the business is minimized with a view to delivering improvements by advising, coaching and facilitating.

• Conducting risk assessments.
• Performing 2nd level testing on 1st Level Controls.
• Reporting risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified and providing recommendations for improving the record to report department operations.
• Evaluating compliance with the record-to-report department existing policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed.
• Identifying areas of strengths and weaknesses and engaging in continuous education and staff development on best practices.
• Reviewing responses to internal and external audit management letter queries to ensure recommendations are implemented and ensuring all action items are resolved. Providing support to the Compliance organization.
• This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

• Master degree level in Finance/Management or related discipline or graduated from a Business School (or equivalent). 1 to 2 years' experience maximum in internal audit in an international company or audit firm.
• Analytical thinking with ability to synthetize.
• Rigorous, recognized for your organizational skills and your attention to the details.
• Good communication skills, customer oriented and able to work in an international environment.
• Team player.
• Negotiation level in English.
