What we're looking for
skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- +3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL Server databases.
- Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, etc.
- Knowledge of ETL tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Advanced level in English (at least B2).

The role
Randstad Digital is recruiting a Data Engineer for direct integration into a client in Espinho.
Hybrid work (3 days on-site per week).
What you'll do
key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines using AWS and GCP services.
- Design and implement data storage solutions in AWS and GCP.
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance to ensure efficiency and
scalability. - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - internal and external - to define
data requirements and provide technical solutions together with those teams. - Ensure data security and compliance through the implementation of
cloud security best practices. - Document data processes and architectures to facilitate maintenance and
scalability.
