Control-M Consultant

• Proven experience with BMC Control-M in enterprise environments;
• Knowledge of defining jobs, folders, calendars, conditions, resources, and variables;
• Experience in the analysis and maintenance of dependencies between batch processes;
• Knowledge of Control-M/Enterprise Manager, Control-M/Server, and Control-M/Agent;
• Ability to analyze critical processes and collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and development teams;

• Experience with Control-M Automation API, JSON job definition, and CI/CD integration is valued;
• Experience in the orchestration of ETL processes and file transfers is valued;

• Proficiency in English, oral and written, for collaboration and technical documentation.

We are looking for a Batch Automation and Orchestration Consultant with experience in Control-M to participate in a technological transformation project for a reference client in the energy sector.
The professional will focus on the analysis and adaptation of batch processing chains, ensuring the correct management of dependencies, calendars, and permissions, as well as compliance with the execution windows of critical business processes.

• Analyze the impact of changes in applications, integrations, and infrastructures on batch processes;
• Create and adapt jobs, execution conditions, variables, resources, and scheduling rules;
• Support the segregation of folders, permissions, and configurations by environment and entity;
• Integrate the execution of scripts, ETL processes, file transfers, and external services;
• Configure alerts, monitoring, and recovery and re-execution procedures;
• Participate in batch chain testing, production entry trials, and stabilization, documenting operational procedures.
