Occupational Safety Technician - Ourém

Suma, a waste collection company, intends to reinforce its structure with the hiring of a Safety Technician.

• Monitor services and identify good and bad safety practices, proposing the appropriate corrective measures to direct hierarchy;
• Prepare and update hazard and risk identification maps;
• Monitor occupational accidents, conducting the respective investigations, analyses, and reports for stakeholders;
• Implement the measures defined by the Area Management regarding annual safety plans, preventive measures, and accident mitigation programs;
• Active participation in the process of maintaining the Company's Certification by applicable entities and standards and ensure compliance with the requirements legally established in the area.

• Minimum, 12th grade
• Preferably, a Degree in Engineering/ Environmental Sciences or related fields;
• Level VI Occupational Safety and Health Technician course or Level IV Occupational Health and Safety Technician course
• Knowledge and experience in the 45001 standard (knowledge of 9001 and 14001 standards will be an asset)
• Previous experience in the functions will be an asset
• Schedule availability (although the working hours are normative, given the nature of the services, there will be a need to work other schedules)
• Availability to occasionally travel nationally and internationally for the Company
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English
• Driver's license
