Java Fullstack Developer - Remote

About the Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of modern, scalable web applications within a cloud-oriented environment. Selected professionals will be actively involved across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.

The role provides exposure to up-to-date technologies, agile methodologies, and high-impact digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications

• Build responsive and user-centric frontend solutions

• Develop and enhance backend services and APIs

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders

• Contribute to architectural discussions, code quality standards, and testing strategies

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in frontend development using Vue, React, or similar frameworks

• Solid backend development experience with Kotlin or Java

• Willingness to further develop expertise in Vue.js

• Interest in working with and learning Ktor as a backend framework

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• Strong communication skills

• Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset

• Currently residing in Portugal or willing to relocate to Portugal (must hold European Union citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Vue

• Experience with Kotlin and/or Ktor

• Background in Cloud Native development, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience working on international software development projects
