Qualifications

• Software Engineering Background: Strong foundation in software development with deep proficiency in Python and solid hands-on experience with the Django framework.

• API Integration Expertise: Excellent capability in manipulating, consuming, and integrating complex RESTful APIs.

• Networking & Security Foundations: Solid grasp of core networking and security concepts to effectively translate business/operational needs into robust code.

• Quality-Driven Mindset: Sharp focus on code quality, automated testing (unit/integration), refactoring, and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Network Automation Experience: Prior experience in automating solutions such as VMware NSX, enterprise firewalls, or proxies.

• DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Job Description

Our Network Security engineering team operates within a highly automated, modern technological ecosystem. We are seeking a Tech Lead with a strong programming background to lead software development initiatives, build internal automation tools, streamline network security workflows, and establish best practices for code quality, architecture, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead the software development strategy and technical automation roadmap for the Network Security team.

• API Integrations: Build advanced integrations and custom workflows using REST APIs from network and security solutions (e.g., VMware NSX, Fortinet, etc.).

• Automation Solutions & Portals: Develop and maintain web applications, internal tools, and automation dashboards utilizing the Python stack (Django framework).

• Quality & Testing Standards: Establish structured testing methodologies, development guidelines, code review practices, and clean architecture standards.

• Operations Automation: Drive operational efficiency by ensuring routine network security management is fully driven by automation and code.
